Jarrett Iovine

Hi there! My name is Jarrett Iovine and I am a career airline pilot, flight instructor, and a linguist. My passion has always been education and sharing the knowledge I have gained around the world in my travels combining aviation and languages. I have many years as a professional aviation instructor and language teacher.

There is nothing more beautiful than speaking in the language of another speaker of that language and breaking the communication and cultural barriers that way. The reactions are amazing and it is truly a mutually rewarding experience. I spent most of my life learning the lesser commonly spoken languages of the world such as Icelandic, Belarusian, and Chechen and learning those languages when someone least expects a non-native to speak it is an even more rewarding experience.

I started LingoTala to put my methods of approaching language learning into action.
