Frank Macri is the Founder of Thriving Coach Academy. He has trained and mentored over 1,000 individuals looking to start their own coaching practices. He is also the host of the “Life Coaching Secrets” podcast. When he started his own journey as a coach over 8 years ago, Frank did not have any prior business experience or a large online following.

As a teenager, Frank struggled with confidence issues and an insecurity about the way his voice sounded. He had no idea how to become more confident until he picked up a book on psychology. He immediately knew he wanted to pursue a career in mental health.

After graduating from Boston University with a degree in psychology, Frank realized that becoming a therapist would limit him to only treat mental illness. It wasn’t until Frank did some research online that he discovered life coaching as a career path.

He learned that life coaches support successful people seeking to live optimal lives. And life coaches had complete freedom to design their own businesses however they wanted.

Soon after, Frank enrolled in a training to become a Certified Professional Coach… and the rest is history. In the process of becoming a coach, Frank overcame all his confidence issues and even found a passion for public speaking. Frank took his life coaching business from zero to $1M, making him one of the most successful Millennial coaches in the industry.

At this point, people started to reach out to Frank and ask him how he got into coaching. Frank took everything he knew about the art and business of coaching to design a curriculum unlike any other.

One of the biggest problems Frank noticed in other coaching schools is that they were teaching coaching skills and business strategies that were no longer appropriate given the changes in our society. He wanted to create a modern coach training program that prepared coaches to keep up with the challenges our world is facing today.

He launched Thriving Coach Academy, and within its first year the International Coach Federation (ICF) recognized it as an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP). Now, the Academy has developed into an incredible community of coaches who are making a difference in the world.
