Filip Boksa

I started my first successful business when I was 19 years old with my best friend from high school. We had zero experience, no connections didn't come from a wealthy family, nor did we take any outside funding. Our combined investment was only $6,000 when we started, and we grew that company to over 5 million in combined sales within three years. When we started, we both had full-time jobs and went to college full-time. Once the business began to take off, we both dropped out to focus all of our efforts on the company.

When I was around 24, I co-founded BookingKoala, which today is home to thousands of entrepreneurs. BookingKoala is a platform that allows someone to start a service-type business and grow it from start to scale. It's entirely bootstrapped, worth millions of dollars, and I work hard with my team with the goal of turning it into a billion-dollar unicorn without ever taking any outside capital.
