Emil Harker

For over 20 years Emil has been helping couples overcome the barriers that prevent them from living life with passion and purpose.

Right from the gates of his advanced education from Utah State University, Emil's out-of-the-box thinking helped him learn how powerful relational components are in helping clients overcome addiction at New Choices Substance Abuse Program in Logan Utah. Shortly after graduating, he worked with a team of therapists and counselors in Afton Wyoming to create one of the first Drug Court programs. His experience in addiction grew from working at McKay Dee hospital's Adult and Adolescent behavioral units, and then on into being a Crisis Worker in the Emergency Room. He's had experience working with adolescents in a residential treatment program including time in a Wilderness Treatment Program.

Now, for Almost 12 years Emil has been in private practice working with hundreds of clients. Emil recently finished publishing his first book "You Can Turn Conflict Into Closeness" which has been endorsed as a "must read" from the world's most renown marriage researcher and master teacher, Dr. John Gottman. Emil has been featured on many local and international radio and tv programs, including the Ricki Lake Show with NBA legend and three time All Star NBA Champion Antoine Walker. Emil is a devoted researcher, clinician and student.  Emil loves what he does and you can't help but feel it.
