Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a Procurement Consultant based in the UK.

By day, I work in real-life procurement across both the public and private sectors, with particular experience in construction and services. Before moving into procurement, I was a teacher — and that combination is a big part of how I approach my CIPS courses.

Because knowing your subject and knowing how to teach it are two completely different skills.

I have both.

I understand procurement because I actually do it, and I understand teaching because I’m qualified to teach. That means my courses aren’t just about giving you information — they’re about explaining it clearly, helping you understand what the exam is really asking, and showing you how to apply your knowledge effectively.

I started creating CIPS resources because, when I was studying myself, I struggled to find revision materials that were genuinely useful. There was plenty of theory, but not enough practical exam preparation. So I started making the resources I wished I’d had.

I’ve now been creating CIPS practice questions and courses on Udemy for four years and have helped more than 5,000 students prepare for their exams.

I’m also a moderator of the CIPS Student Group 2026 on Facebook, a community of more than 12,000 members, so I spend a lot of time talking to students about the parts of CIPS they find difficult, confusing or just unnecessarily complicated.

My aim is simple: to make CIPS feel more manageable, help you understand the subject properly, and give you the exam technique and confidence you need to walk into the exam knowing you’re prepared.

Outside of procurement, I enjoy gardening, drinking far too much tea, and occasionally pretending I’m not thinking about procurement.
