Elizabeth Hale

I am an attorney licensed in the State of California. Other than Intellectual property, I have a deep interest in criminal law, the First, Second, and Fourth Amendments as well as Constitutional law.

I am currently completing the requirements to be licensed in Arizona.

I graduated from UCLA with Highest Honors in Art History and went to Law School at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. During law school, I was a Senior Editor on The Journal of Islamic Law and Culture, and participated in an international moot court competition as well as a national moot court competitions. The subject matter of both competitions was the protection of artifacts and historically significant properties.

I have a special interest in property law, both tangible and intangible.

Recently, I was asked to write a memorandum for a special committee created by the US Congress advising them of on the current status of international law as related to , the protection of art and artifacts. The memorandum specifically dealt with the ongoing looting and destruction of historically significant art and architecture.

I am an avid reader and a huge fan of history. (Right now, I am totally immersed in a history of the Wars of the Roses and the Plantagenet dynasty!)
