Bio: Hi, I’m Eli. I am a scientist and AI practitioner fascinated by the deep connections between different scientific disciplines.
My Background: I have spent my career operating in two distinct worlds. For 15 years, I was an experimental scientist in academia, conducting deep research into Stem Cells, Cancer Biology, and Neuroscience. I then transitioned to the technology sector, where I have spent the last 7+ years working in Data, AI, and most recently Generative AI roles.
My Education: Driven by curiosity, I earned degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Engineering, and International Relations, and a PhD in Medical Physics. Currently, I am also an MBA candidate.
Why I Teach: What I enjoy most is getting to the bottom of complex subjects. For me, mastering a topic like AI isn't just about the coding (although that is how I earn my living); it is about uncovering the scientific lineage and philosophical questions that drove its creation.
In this course, I apply that perspective to Artificial Intelligence. Rather than just looking at code, we will explore the fundamental questions connecting AI to the human mind: consciousness, intelligence, perception, and ethics.
My goal is simple: to make complex scientific ideas accessible, clear, and truly exciting. I want to help you understand the "why" and "how" behind the technologies shaping our world.
Let’s Connect! I am here to help you learn. If you have questions as you go through the course, please message me or connect with me on LinkedIn. I look forward to discussing these big ideas with you!
