About me
My name is Dwayne Riner, and I've been in ministry for over twenty years. That equates to about 1,000 times speaking in front of a real audience. I’ve learned some things about presence and how to connect with crowds both live and through video.
When I began presenting on video, I was awful—the blank stare, the bad lighting, my monotone voice—rough. But I got a lot better. As my career has evolved, I've also had the chance to coach others to become better presenters.
I’ve spoken to audiences of thousands and created hundreds of videos. That gives me a unique perspective on what it takes to create great videos. I've also had the opportunity to write and direct a sales commercial for LG, a global brand.
I understand why videos work and why they don't. If there's a mistake you can make, I've probably made it. That experience has enabled me to create a course to help you become a more confident presenter. Even better, you'll learn to do it faster than I did. You won't have to "trial and error" your way to getting better.
If I could go back and show you my first videos, you'd laugh. (That's okay. I laugh, too.) I'm proof that anyone can get better. People who are good at presenting on camera aren't born, they're made. Video's impact is larger than it's ever been. It doesn't matter what you do. You have to be able to show up strong on video.
Right now, what you care about most is: can I actually help you? The short answer...YES! I know that because I've taken beginners who could barely land one usable take and helped them become great on camera. I want to do the same thing for you.
If you feel awkward on camera or hate how you sound, I can help. Whether corporate, non-profit, social media, or sales, these principles will work no matter what you use video for. I think being more comfortable on video can have a meaningful impact on your goals. I want to help you do that—in just seven days.
