Velva Boles, MD, PhD
Dr. Velva Boles is a physician-scientist who practiced clinical medicine for 25 years in Louisiana, South Carolina, and Missouri and is a certified by the American College of Forensic Examiners as a medical investigator. Dr. Boles earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from North Carolina State University, Master’s degree in inorganic and organic chemistry from Duquesne University, Doctorate of Medicine from University of Pittsburgh, Doctorate in Health Sciences from Concordia University. Dr. Boles had post-graduate training at Colorado State University in molecular biology- gene regulation and medical residency at Tulane Medical Center. Dr. Boles has been an Adjunct Professor at LSUA in Department of Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Upper Iowa University in Biology Department.
