As a seasoned corporate trainer with expertise in training and mentoring board of directors, entrepreneurs, and investors, Dr. Ram Behin brings expertise in navigating the complexities of power dynamics, strategic decisions, and governance structures on the board level. He was a member of the team at the Al Qasimi Family Office, the most renowned royal family office in the UAE, where he managed their family businesses, optimizing their business strategies, enhancing communication, and managing investment decisions within the organization. He has had wide exposure to healthcare, education, technology, commercial real estate, and alternative investments for nearly 20 years in Asia and Middle East, Europe and US markets. He was a speaker at Forbes Middle East Healthcare Leaders’ Summit 2024.

Dr. Ram Behin has a network of contacts spanning institutional investors in the GCC region, with an Asset Under Management (AUM) of USD 200 billion. As the CEO of a private equity firm backed by the royal family, he led the expansions into the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC-Dubai) and successfully managed a healthcare portfolio, driving revenue growth. He assisted the leading private equity firms in the US, UK, and Europe by partnering with the leading Middle East LPs.

Dr. Behin led the policy-making special tasks for federal and local governments, including Sharjah Healthcare City. He managed P&L for the leading healthcare group in the UAE and was also an Independent Non-Ex Board member for a pharma group in the UAE. He was actively involved in conducting more than 30 healthcare financial feasibility studies, capital planning, commissioning, and turnaround assignments in the Middle East and Asia. He actively shaped and influenced sell-side and buy-side healthcare mandates in the Middle East and Asia.

Dr. Behin is an adjunct professor at American University in Dubai (AUD) and well recognized for his teaching skills. He has groomed over 300 interns, with many now holding significant roles in the corporate world. He was the Director of Business and Strategy at Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai, and a Senior Analyst at TAHPI.

In addition to keeping an MBA in corporate finance from Bayes (Cass) Business School, City, University of London, London, Dr. Behin holds an MBA in Hospital Management (IIHMR, Bangalore), a doctorate degree from ESC Clermont Business School, France, and holds a medical bachelor degree from The Dr. Tamilnadu MGR Medical University, India. Dr. Behin completed the executive education program at London Business School, London, and The George Washington University, US.

He is conducting research on the impacts of Power Dynamics on the financial performance of the corporate firms. Dr. Behin is a senior advisor for renowned royal family members. He has a leadership role in the London Capital and Paparazzi House.
