Dr. Justin Velten is president of Go Culture International, a leading global business personnel and expatriate retention company. Dr. Velten has taught, researched, and provided consultation in Intercultural Communication for 14 years before becoming head of Go Culture.
As an educator, Dr. Velten enjoyed a 95% student approval rating while maintaining stringent classroom academic expectations to prepare students as global citizens. Most semesters, Dr. Velten taught courses in Intercultural, Interpersonal, Organizational, and Small Group Communication along with Public Speaking, Persuasion, and Ethical Negotiation and Conflict-Management. Dr. Velten holds an undergraduate degree in Public Relations from College of the Ozarks, a graduate degree in Human Communication from Abilene Christian University, and a doctorate in Intercultural Communication from Regent University.
Alongside the publication of numerous scholarly journals, Dr. Velten’s research has also been featured in international speaking engagements, including the International Communication Association conference in Poland, the Canadian conference on civic-engagement in service-learning, and the Gulf Coast SHRM Symposium on navigating the overseas venture. Dr. Velten was also invited to speak at the International Intercultural Communication Scholars conference in Hong Kong and the Modern Society in the Context of Multicultural Communication conference in Moscow, Russia.
