Dilson Siud is a bass player since 2004. After studying at the Escola de Música & Tecnologia in Campinas, São Paulo, for a period of time, he met Jim Stinnett, renowned bass instructor of Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and became his student.
Since then, as a dedicated student, Dilson was featured on Stinnett Music's website as December 2014's "Student Spotlight" page. He was also awarded a Full Tuition Scholarship for the New Hampshire Bass Fest 2015.
Nowadays, Dilson teaches bass at several music schools on his hometown in Brazil and also via videochat both in portuguese and english. Dilson is also a writer, columnist for DPX Editorial and editor-in-chief of Cover Baixo, the most famous publication about bass in Brazil. He also works with translation of musical material.
Since 2017, Dilson plays bass for Stringbreaker & The Stuffbreakers.

Dilson Siud é baixista desde 2004. Depois de um período no EM&T Campinas, conheceu Jim Stinnett, professor da Berklee College of Music há mais de 30 anos e se tornou seu aluno.
Desde então, após destacar-se nos estudos, estampou a Student Spotlight da Stinnett Music em Dezembro de 2014, tendo ganho também uma bolsa integral para o New Hampshire Bass Fest 2015.
Atualmente é professor na Escola Musicalize, em Pirassununga-SP, na Casa da Cultura de Porto Ferreira-SP e ministra aulas de baixo online em português e inglês. Dilson também é escritor, colunista da DPX Editorial e editor geral do portal Cover Baixo, além de trabalhar com tradução de material didático e jornalístico musical.
Desde 2017, Dilson é baixista do trio de rock instrumental Stringbreaker & The Stuffbreakers.
