A native to Westchester NY, Diana spent over 20 years living and working in Europe, mainly in Germany, with periods of work and study experience in Florence, Italy and Barcelona, Spain.
She attended college in Cologne, Germany where she studied translation and interpretation, and also holds a vocational training degree in business administration. Diana is a certified and registered Yoga instructor as well as a certified specialist for organic foods and organic farming regulations, project management, as well as marketing & sales of organic foodstuffs by the Cologne Chamber of Commerce in Germany. Diana is trained in cooking techniques such as Chinese 5 Elements, Ayurveda, raw, vegan and special diets for allergies and intolerance.
Diana has always had a passion for wholesome food and cooking, yet as she progressed into the world of nutrition and yoga, it became clear that her interest lies not in the how but rather in the why.
Her work revolves around creating awareness of our eating and exercising patterns and understanding ourselves in this respect. This understanding is the basis for making changes that last.
The focus of her work, however, is not on achieving weight loss as an ultimate goal, but rather on acceptance and nurturing of self, leading to a kinder self-image and peaceful weight management.
