Grandmaster Gallaher is the owner and head instructor of the Gung Fu Institute located in Fort Myers, FL. His career in martial arts started at a young age, when he was first exposed to many different martial art styles. He is trained and certified under Grandmaster Chan Chee Man, who is one of the senior students under the Great Grandmaster, Ip Man. Grandmaster Chan Chee Man was Gallaher's last teacher in Wing Chun up until his recent passing. He is also privately trained in Hong Kong by Ip Man's son, Yip Ching, as well as other direct descendants of Ip Man. Gallaher is trained, certified, and authorized from Hong Kong by many different Masters and Grandmasters to teach Wing Chun. Not only is he an exceptional Wing Chun practitioner, he is also trained, certified and authorized by Bruce Lee's first generation of students to teach the full Jeet Kune Do method of fighting. He was certified under Ted Wong, Daniel Lee, and Steve Golden, as well as authorized by Jessie Glover, Bruce Lee's first student. Sigung Gallaher will cover salutations, proper stance, single direct punching, and more.
