I trained as a Chef at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) in Vancouver, Canada. I have worked in the industry for 10 years. Started my own French dessert business in 2004. Absolutely love food and cooking. I use to crave sugar often and didn't have a lot of energy. I wanted to be healthier but I still wanted to enjoy delicious food. So I start experimenting with different ingredients and studying about the harmful effects of sugar. Coming off sugar was difficult but what saved me was having healthy sweets so I didn't go mad or go back to eating sugar again. I am always looking for different ways to make desserts that I use to love into healthy versions that taste the same or even better. I really love this way of eating it has really changed how I feel. I hope I can inspire other people to give it a try so they can see how good it makes them feel.
