As a psychologist with nearly two decades of experience in the field of eating disorders, I often hear parents say that they'd like to help their child recover, but they're not sure where to get started. And that's why I created this course. Think of it as a crash course on eating disorders--everything you need to know about diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The lectures are based on the latest research in the field of eating disorders, as well as my extensive clinical experience working in residential and outpatient settings.
I have a PhD from the University of Southern California and studied psychology as an undergraduate at Wellesley and Scripps Colleges. In addition to my Psychotherapy practice in Santa Fe, NM, I am a Senior Staff Psychologist at the Eating Disorders Treatment Center in Albuquerque, NM. I also consult with families who wish to learn more about how to help their child recover through ED Educate, my consultation practice.
Recovering from an eating disorder is no easy task. But with the extensive information in this course, you'll be ready to help your child take on the fight.
