I am a consultant Physician and Cardiologist working in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. I look after patients with hypertension and cardiovascular disease on a daily basis. I feel strongly that cardiovascular disease prevention should be a lifelong process. In 1997 obtained my medical degree from the University of Aberdeen, the oldest established medical school in the world. I also have a 1st class honours degree in medical science, post graduate diplomas in general internal medicine and am now a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I obtained my Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training, in both cardiology and medicine in 2010. I have published original research in the field of cardiovascular medicine and continue to be involved in clinical research studies.
