I assist sport management students with maximizing their student status as a means to begin their careers in the sport industry. I train sport management students on how to use Web 2.0 and social media applications as a means to create their sport career brand. I also consult with college faculty on creating or modifying courses that integrate Web 2.0 applications. I also provide advice on how to design courses that are millennial student friendly, while still meeting course objectives.
Assistant Dean of Sport Science/Chair of Sport Management:
I am responsible for the supervision, marketing, student recruitment, internship, program development, and student/parent relations in the Sport Management, Athletic Training, and Physical Education Teaching Licensing programs. I provide leadership in establishing efforts that support Sport Management COSMA accreditation.

I write and present on topics that address how sport management college students can establish strategic plans for applying to college, applying for scholarships, and planning for careers in sport. I provide tips and strategies for prospective and current sport management related to resume writing, interviewing, and branding yourself for a career in the sport industry.
