Helping Dancers, Singers and Songwriters
Chip Jenkins teaches singers and dancers in Norway. She runs a part time dance class twice a week and has a diary full of singing students in her private studio.
She is also the founder of Songwriter Pod.
The main aim is to help songwriters grow creative songwriting ideas and then stabilise that potential as an income stream.
With step by step achievable exercises (tried out in the real world at the Metropolis Studios in London, and the British Institute of Modern Music in London) I help you with practical steps to strengthen your songwriting inspiration daily.
I provide you with knowledge, especially for songwriters who wish to write and produce quality music.
The idea behind the Songwriter Pod is that now it is totally achievable to write songs at home, with depth, authenticity and a professional approach.
I started out on busking in France, then went on tour with bands where we performed for 3 hours a night, sometimes 27 days of the month.
When I returned to England, I worked with the incredibly brilliant producer David Hentschel. I owe him a huge debt of thanks due to his patience helping me to put together songs and recording me. In fact there are huge lessons I have learnt from him by observing him working.
I have also spent 20 years as a Contemporary Music Instructor, Vocal coach, Songwriter and career coach. I have worked for the Academy of Contemporary Music in both Guildford and London at Metropolis Studios, and the British Institute of Modern Music (*BIMM) in both Brighton and London.
I am fully registered with the PRS-MCPS - the UK royalties collection agencies.
I now live in Norway and am dedicating my time to sharing video lessons, in-depth courses, and studio production services to singers who I work with in Norway.
I have a passion for passing on what I have learned through songwriting for 2 decades, working with clients in the studio, and teaching 1000’s of students in private and group lessons.
