Hi everyone!

My name is Cat, and I'm an English teacher with 8 years of experience, teaching hundreds of students. I passed my CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults) in 2015, and then another  teaching qualification to work in the French public school system.

I taught English full-time in a secondary school in France, before moving to London in 2018, where I have mainly been helping students to prepare for language exams such as IELTS and TOEFL. So far, they have all made great progress, and have been very happy with their results.

I am British and English is my first language, but I grew up in France, and lived there for 24 years. I have taught many French speakers, and have a very good understanding of the unique difficulties that they may be encountering with English.

My number 1 goal is to make the process of learning English online as clear, fun and engaging as possible, so that students feel they can have the best of both worlds.  If there are any topics at all you would like to see me make a course on, please let me know.

Je m'appelle Cat, et je suis une professeure d'anglais avec 8 ans d''expérience, ayant enseigné à des centaines d'élèves. J'ai passé le CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults) en 2015, avant d'obtenir l'agrégation d'anglais l'année suivante.

J'ai enseigné dans un lycée public en France, avant de déménager à Londres en 2018, où je donne principalement des cours en ligne, notamment pour aider mes élèves à préparer des examens tels que le IELTS ou le TOEFL. Ils ont tous bien progressé, et sont très satisfaits de leurs résultats.

Je suis britannique et l'anglais est ma langue maternelle, mais j'ai grandi en France, et y ai habité pendant 24 ans. J'ai enseigné à de nombreux francophones, et je comprends bien les difficultés particulières qu'ils peuvent rencontrer avec l'anglais.

Mon objectif premier est de rendre votre apprentissage en ligne le plus clair, amusant et intéressant possible, pour que vous puissiez bénéficier des avantages pratiques des cours par vidéo, tout en  ayant le sentiment d'assister à un cours en personne.
