Carden has been involved in teaching programming and technology for over 8 years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
He has taught the following courses at the University level: Introduction to Programming Logic, first and second semester Java programming, and Introduction to Databases.
While pursuing graduate studies in Computer Science, Carden was a department tutor, and worked in Web Development for a state government office. His industry experience includes developing a database driven intranet application to store and track commodity data for a pharmaceutical company.
He has a passion for learning and teaching, with a goal of making instructional content approachable and meaningful to all beginning computer scientists.
