About me
Hi there, I’m Blair Nicole— a mindfulness and self-compassion coach, best-selling author, and former trauma therapist. I'm also PhD candidate in Psychology, researching the mental health impact of self-compassion.
To sum it up - I help people remember they are good enough.
I’m also a freelance travel and mental health writer, world traveler, wife, and mother.
I wholeheartedly believe that connection holds massive potential for healing, and that together we can accomplish so much more. I also believe that exploring the world, both internally and externally, can transform lives.
For over 14 years, I was the CEO and Founder of Media Moguls PR, an international PR agency. While I appreciated the lifestyle it gave me, I also quickly learned that hustle culture definitely wasn’t for me. I loved travel and helping others, and wanted to do more of those things.
So, a few years ago, I decided to pursue my true passion. I desperately wanted to pursue something meaningful that would allow me to prioritize my own well-being, and help others. This set me on the path to my own inner healing, as well as a new career.
In 2022, I graduated with an MA (Masters) in Counseling Psychology, and became registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) in the state of California. I provided addiction and trauma therapy to clients in San Diego and Los Angeles for two years, before making another shift.
In 2024, I began to study the impact of mindful self-compassion on mental health and well-being. And, what I learned wasn’t surprising! It just confirmed what I already knew from my own experiences - that mindful self-compassion can be truly transformative.
This inspired me to write the book, 31 Days of Self Compassion, which reached #1 on Amazon in multiple categories. I also went back to school to pursue my PhD.
Since then, I’ve been providing mindfulness and self-compassion training to individuals and organizations.
I believe that we all have the internal resources to heal ourselves and improve our lives - we often just need some direction, and connection with the right mentors.
My goal is to help people do exactly that.
