In addition to 15 years' experience in pure data protection roles and consultancy, from government to healthcare, criminal justice, media companies, fintech, education and sales, I hold IAPP's CIPP/E, CIPM & FIP qualifications as well as the UK BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT Data Protection Practitioner qualification. I am an ISO27701 Lead Implementer.

I do theory - but more importantly, I do practice. I pride myself on teaching, having run data protection courses for the UK Civil Service College, training companies and most recently teaching the Certified KSA DPO course, which is 5 days of classroom learning, 6 months of 1-2-1 mentoring and then an oral exam.
