Brigadier (Rtd.) Benedict Kioko Mwololo is a seasoned military leader with over 37 years of distinguished service in the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). Commissioned as a Kenya Air Force cadet in 1986, he rose through the ranks to Brigadier, holding key appointments in aviation operations, human resources, strategic planning, and peacekeeping.
He served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA)—overseeing mission support, logistics, and coordination in one of the UN’s most complex operational theatres.
Academically, he holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in International Relations and Diplomacy. His final posting was as Director of Academic Affairs at the National Defence University–Kenya (NDU-K), where he shaped defence education, curriculum development, and strategic research for senior military and civilian leaders.
Today, he bridges military strategy, global political economy, and security studies—translating decades of frontline and policy experience into actionable insights for professionals navigating today’s volatile world.
