Hello! My name is Iiris, and I'm an experienced Finnish teacher who studied Finnish as an adult. I became interested in Finland at a young age through a picture book about Santa Claus.

Many years later, I came to Finland as a visiting student. During my exchange studies, I fell in love with the Finnish language and continued to learn it on my own after the exchange.

A few years later, I was admitted into a master's degree program majoring in Finnish language, and now I am graduated with the master's degree in Finnish and Other Finno-Ugric Languages, University of Turku.

Besides that, I have been working as a Finnish language teacher for more than 2,5 years.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and reading.
