Anna began working with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2002 as a personal assistant and teacher assistant in a public school program for young adults. This was the start of a now long-felt passion for providing support and services for children, families, and educational programs designed for inclusiveness in her community. Since graduating with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Anna has provided training, consultation, and technical assistance related to inclusion for child care, after-school, and recreation providers worldwide. From 2013-2016 Anna directed a project at KIT in partnership with LEED Management Consulting Inc. focused on inclusion in the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Centers. Since becoming the Content & Curriculum Director in 2016, Anna has led the development of in-person and online courses delivered through KIT's blended learning approach to inclusion.
