About me
Andy has been a public interest lawyer since 2003. His legal expertise includes disability income and healthcare benefits, and he has helped thousands of individuals access their disability income and healthcare. Andy is also an educator and has conducted countless disability benefit trainings for the State of California and many other organizations.
Andy’s passion is in making the law accessible to everyone. In 2014, with the financial support of San Francisco’s Department of Public Health, he launched a new type of healthcare counseling program that help people exercise their rights under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In 2018, he collaborated with the City and County of San Francisco and local non-profits to launch a mobile Supplemental Security Income (SSI) legal service for the homeless population. Nimsa is his latest project. He graduated from UC Berkeley and UC Hastings College of the Law.
