Andrew Taylor

Lead Science Teacher

I am currently a science teacher working in England. Within my department I am the lead practitioner working on developing the engaging teaching of Science and am extremely keen in the use of modern technology to drive learning. I have worked on developing a couple of online learning opportunities and have used this combined with my teaching experience to design this course.

Additionally I work with other colleagues supporting them in the delivery of science in the classroom, providing training on new and innovative ways to put across difficult scientific techniques.

I am a qualified biologist having completed a degree in Biology from Imperial College, London and then went on to complete a Masters in Conservation and Forest Protection again at Imperial. I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at King's College, London and from there have been working successfully in schools. Being made lead practitioner has meant that I have been delivering both departmental and whole school training, sharing best practice and encouraging engagement within the school setting.
