FamiliMigrant - Your Canadian Immigrant Coach
My name is Andrea and I own and manage Familimigrant, the author of this course. I migrated to British Columbia, Canada in 2015, together with my husband and then 2 kids.
We had stable, well-paying jobs back in our country. When we received our permanent resident visa, we were unsure if we were making the right decision to abandon a good life, move to a new country and start anew - with no family or friends.
I looked for resources that can hopefully provide me with information on what Canadian immigrant life looks like but all I heard was the unhappy, horror stories of why we shouldn't pursue migrating.
Although there are a lot of helpful organizations in Canada, their focus is mainly on job hunting. Moreover, you can only access them when you already have a valid visa to Canada.
So, I compiled my own stories and experiences in hopes that I would be able to give future immigrants a glimpse on how the first few months of Canada life will look like.
Through this course, my goal is to help immigrants adjust and succeed to their new life in Canada by providing knowledge that will guide them in making right decisions.
If you want to learn more about the course and the Canadian immigrant life, don't hesitate to send me a message.
