Amee Parekh is a Senior Human Resources Professional working for Expedia Inc., an online Travel Company based out of Seattle, Washington. She has a global role in which she coaches leaders and managers on managing organizations effectively. Prior to Expedia, Amee worked for Laureate Education Inc, a global organization which owns over 60 universities spread across 28 countries. Her first global role was when she worked for IBM Corporation in their headquarters in Armonk, New York. She was successful in her role due to the excellent education she gained from Cornell University's Masters degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.
Through her Education from Ivy League University and experiences with numerous global organizations, Amee realized that she could truly enable organizations to grow faster and develop and retain their people if she could train leaders to manage people effectively. She hopes to share a few of the best practices that she has learnt and that are practiced by truly successful organizations. Over the years, Amee's friends and work colleagues have also consulted her on various Human Resources related topics in order to move their careers forward. In addition, Amee has trained a few small sized organizations on issues such as employee retention, performance management etc. She hopes to bring her knowledge and expertise onto the Udemy platform to enable businesses to improve productivity of employees and create a strong culture.
