Entrepreneur, Best Selling Author, Learning and Development Specialist and inspirational Executive Corporate Coach, Amanda has built a successful business from nothing and knows the challenges faced by the smaller enterprise. Through sheer determination and belief she has managed to turn her business into a true success story.
Previously a British Army medic, Amanda went on to teach the general public and has trained over 100,000 in skills that save lives. Until 2010, Amanda, was the CEO of Cheshire based OPTIMUM Training Limited, a specialist First Aid & Safety training company that she established in 1994. In 2005 she launched the first ever Blended Learning Paediatric First Aid programme and had over 60,000 subscibers.
At present she designs and delivers programs to Early Years Practitioners on a wide range of learning, management and leadership issues including accelerated learning, mind management, behaviour analysis, personal communication, attitudes, values, performance, time management, safety and first aid. Her work takes her around the UK, Europe, and previously the Middle East.

In November 2002 Amanda was nominated by Business Insider Magazine as a “42 under 42”. This annual award is given to those business people that the magazine recognises as one of the top 42 entrepreneurs under the age of 42.
February 2004 Amanda became the winner of the first Cheshire “Women In Business” Award.
July 2004 Amanda was nominated for the Institute of Directors “Cheshire Director of the Year” award.
In both November 2004 & 2005 Amanda was nominated for the Institute of Directors “Cheshire Director of the Year” Award.
January 2006 Amanda received the highly regarded “Woman of the Year” award from the American Biographical Institute.
