Professional China and Pottery restorer/ Botanical Artist
Hi my name is Alison Singleton, I have had the pleasure of restoring china and pottery for the last 14 years.
My china restoration journey first started with me learning botanical illustration at Wisley Gardens followed on by Sir Hiller Gardens in Romsey England. With a passion for gardening which lead me to then want to paint flowers, I then decided to attend china restoration courses at studios in Oxford, from there I went on to train in Wiltshire.
Since then I have worked for myself.
Most of my work is for private clients and antique dealers although I do enjoy restoring for myself.
I live and work deep in the English countryside close to Stonehenge with my husband, two teenage children, 3 dogs not to mention other family pets. All while restoring an eighteenth century house and garden.
My first career was a hairstylist, which I still keep my hand in, mainly wedding hair as I love the creativity.
My other hobbies include gardening and Yoga.
