Ahsan Abbas is an inspirational and internationally- renowned humanitarian & landscape photographer, educator, speaker and traveller. His humanitarian and landscape work has been commissioned, exhibited and auctioned by a wide range of high-level organisations, including the United Nations, international aid organisations, Sotheby's and the House of Lords.
He is passionate about capturing images which absorb the viewer and take them, for a moment, beyond the here and now to another time and place. His travels have taken him to more than 40 countries, including North & South America, across Africa, the Middle East and the whole of Europe. He has documented his many years of experience of leading individual, small group and large group mountain treks throughout 4 continents in a diverse and breathtaking selection of images, each of which tells a unique, beautiful and exceptionally powerful story. He is frequently called upon to share
the stories behind his images, as well as the unique approach he brings to his work, through international speaking platforms and forums. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, shortlisted Landscape Photographer of the Year 2013 and is honoured to have been the only photographer asked to share his work through the Transformational Media Initiative.
