"A teacher's life lights may lamps"- by A.P.J Abdul Kalam
I am a passionate academician and have earned my degree of Masters of Technology in Biotechnology. I worked as Assistant Professor in the department of biotechnology for 2 years and taught subjects like statistics, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, biotechnology, genetics and instrumentation. I also worked for Transtutor's as an expert.
Biotechnology is all about techniques and their applications and to understand them it is important to read the lot of research papers, which contains a huge amount of statistical data and graphs. As an academician, I realised the difficulties faced by a student with non- mathematical background to interpret statistical data. Hence this encouraged me to make the course which starts from the basics of statistics .i.e. mean, median and mode.
My strength is to convey difficult ideas in a simple way and has used simple examples which make the concept easy to understand and apply.
This course will not only help non-mathematical background students or researchers but also help all those who want to make their career as an analyst or economist.
Let us, then, up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
