In this first class in the World Religions series, we begin by examining faith in depth. Many people have serious questions and doubts about faith. We aim to tackle these questions in this course. We will examine questions like, which is better: Blind faith or no faith? Do we need faith. Are there good faiths and bad faiths. Is there one true faith or are there many? How can we to determine what to have faith in? We will take a serious look at all these questions and more. By the end, we hope you will have a deeper understanding of what faith really is and how you can better live your faith.

What are the requirements?

  • Viewing classes in any of the other sections may be useful but not required
  • Taking notes is encouraged but not required

Instructor Biography

Kevin Conover, Christian Apologetics Teacher

Kevin Conover lives in San Diego with his wife and three kids. He earned his BA from the University of California San Diego where he was also the commencement speaker. He earned a Masters Degree in Divinity from Trinity Biblical University and is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Apologetics from Biola University.

He taught Christian apologetics at Horizon Christian High School for four years and was voted by the students as teacher of the year four years in a row. He is currently in his third year of teaching apologetics at Christian High School which is associated with Shadow Mountain Church and Pastor David Jeremiah.

Kevin is a volunteer assistant pastor at Skyline Church with Dr. Jim Garlow, a frequent guest host on the Bob Siegel radio show, and speaks at a variety of events on the truth of the Bible. He is the founder of a Christian education ministry, Educate For Life, which helps people know why the Bible is the only book that can credibly be called God's Word.
