In this part of the course I tie some of the SEO and social media marketing together because as you recall, social media sharing boosts your SEO, and here I show how to use Twitter to not only get more exposure on Twitter, but to also boost your search engine optimization and help your website, individual pages or product pages rank higher in Google searches.
In this part of the course I talk about the ideal tweet length for your tweets. Many people think that the ideal length for tweets is 140 characters which happens to be the upper character limit. But that is wrong. When other people scan their Twitter feeds, they don't fully read all the tweets, but rather scan them. And their eyes naturally land on the tweets that are easiest to read. So if your tweets are shorter than 140 characters, it will become more attractive to people, and they will focus on your tweets more than other tweets and you will get more engagement which will help you get more followers and retweets.
In this part of my teaching, I talk about the ideal number of hashtags you should use in a tweet. Research shows that two hashtags per tweet it the right amount.
