English [Auto] In this lesson, I'd like to talk about the POW MIA service. So what are we going to do is we're currently on the POW by page, but to get to the bio page, you can go to your Internet browser and all you do is you just put in power by DOT the very quick and easy, just papabile dot com hit the enter key and you'll see them. The power splash page will come up on your Internet browser. So this is the public service that is on the Internet. Now, what we're going to find out with Microsoft's Pahlavi's, this two products that we can use. So the product that's on the Internet you're going to see has got more limited functionality than the one that we're going to be using during the majority of the course, which is a power beyond desktop. So we're going to first look at this is an understanding of how the public service works and an overview. And then we're going to move across the popular desktop and we're going to be looking at creating our different reports and our visualizations. Once we got those together, we will come back to the public service again and we'll see how the two products work together. OK, so first off, when you come across this page page, you'll see there's quite a bit of information. This may be a bit different when you look at it, because Microsoft does update this page quite a bit. So you'll see that the same some studies that will give you some understanding of the features of power. So just kind of a little bit of understanding about the product and what the different. For instance, over here, we've got different products that work with Poppea, so gives you a lot of information. So this is quite useful to go through. But I'm going to go back to the top of here. And what I'm going to look at is these menu options. So you see that we can sign in or we can try for free. Now, if you want to use this for the first time. Please note you have to have a work email address. So that means it's not going to accept a Gmail account or a Hotmail account. It has to be a actual work address. So all you do is click on of free, put in your details and there will be a few pages that you'll go through just in terms of sign up. But once you've signed up, it will send you a confirmation email and then you're able to log into the publisher. What you may also find is that if your organization already has an enterprise license with Microsoft, that you may get an email saying that you need to contact your system administrator. Your system administrator can then just enable Paul before you and then you'll also be able to login. I'm going to use the signing button. I'm already registered with the public service. And what you'll see is that Microsoft comes up and asks me to pick an account. So I use my data insightful, such this into my password and we're just going to sign it. So in this case, I'm going to choose not to stay on them, but you will see that that will be an option you can choose. Now, this will bring up your power by service sort of homepage. Now, over here you can see that you've got a little navigation over here. You've got your home page over here. And what you see is it's got some different information services. For example, you can watch videos. It also has a favourite's and a frequently accessed reports. You will see some of the reports I've got over here and some reports. And then the data got some recommended apps that you might be interested in. So your home page has got a bit of information, a bit of detail that you may find interesting at the top as well. Over here, you got your different favorite. So when you start creating your own reports and dashboards, you can actually make them a favorite. And the way you do that is you just click on Stivarga. So once you select the store and mocks it as a favorite and then you will then see that on your list of favorites. If I've got this Udemy analysis over here, I've got favorites over here. I see. Because I'm at the store and it shows in the favorites to turn that off. All I do is just click on the store again and then you'll see that it has been removed from my list of favorites. Can also see a list of recent reports that you've worked on. So very easy to work on that as well. Also, we've got something called EPP's over here. We'll talk about apps later on in the course. But this is the way that you can create apps and share it with people within your organization. A really great way of being able to share information, reports Khorshid with me as well. This is the old way the Pabai used to share the reports. So something that we don't really use these days. We use apps and also we use workspaces to share information. But as I say in the course, we'll talk about that a lot more. So the bottom of it here is our workspace is this is where we actually work on our reports on the dashboards and create. Now, if you're working with PAO by Pro, then you're able to actually create new workspaces. This allows you and other people who have licenses to collaborate and work on reports together. If you don't have a publisher pro license, then you're not able to create additional workspaces or you are able to do is work within your own workspace. You'll see within your own workspace that we get the ability to do dashboards, reports have workbooks and data set. And we're going to talk about that a lot more in the course of these different options. You'll see some of this is populated at the moment. We've actually got a coronavirus report here that's kind of very topical at the moment. So different reports that we've got, we'll see at the top of here as well. Now we've got a drop down and you'll see that we get things like notifications. You can have different settings within the past year or so. You have different software that you can download. One of the big ones over here is you have your desktop, so you're going to be looking at your desktop a little bit later. But this is really useful to be able to download your desktop. But there's also some other software that we can use as well. And you get your help and support and your feedback. OK, so this is public service. I just wanted to take you through a quick listen just to show you how to sign in or to sign up. So the first step is really just getting into this. And as I say, we're going to be working with the power desktop a little bit later to be able to create reports on this. But before we get there, I do want to explore a little bit just over here about the ability to get our data, bring it into the public service. So we're going to do that in the next lesson. I'll see you there. Thank you.
