English [Auto] Hi again. This lecture in this lecture I'm gonna tell you about the present moment because this first course is about the present moment. You cannot become more mindful you should don't learn how to live from here. From the present moment So mindfulness is not something you can think about is something you leave so you can only start from here from the present moment. So my friend this is your nature and it's. It includes some stages. First is the present moment. That means to learn how to live from the present moment is I showed you. Your past is gone is just the memory. Your future is just to my generation. This means that your past and your future are not free. So if you understand this you'll understand that only the present moment is about quality. So first you have to learn how to live from here. Because only here is actuality. If you think about something it's abstract is an idea. You think about tomorrow is an idea. If you think about it time is an idea. If you think about yourself is an idea you have to make this difference between abstract which includes all your mental chattering chatter about ideas and actuality and the present moment is the gate to real understanding to real living mindfulness. Of course the present moment is not something you know something you see right now. Even if you look at what is in front of their eyes you cannot see the present moment because you don't have the clarity. So when you see now when look at reality which is in front of your eyes of course because if you think about the past is memory again. And if you think about future there is also an imagination so you can reach the present moment only from looking at it from the connect or reconnect thing yourself with it becoming more and more engaged in what is here. So now if we look at reality you will see the present moment moment from the lens of your mind. So now if you look at a reality you will see like a distortion or reality according to your mind. But the secret is issue and I'm going to show you how to do this. If you keep looking at reality and you should do it in this using your attention at being very very vigilant your your mental projection will will be used. So you'll become more and more aware of what this actually did. So the present moment is here. Of course the present moment is right in front of your eyes. The present moment is not in your mind is not in the past. Of course your future is not your concept is not new language. The present moment is here right in front of your eyes. So if the present moment is here why you cannot see it because you see your mind. But if you use your attention we just prior to your mind. And I'm going to show you how to do this. You'll become more and more aware. It's like you look at sky. Let's say that the present moment is the blue beautiful sky which is shining which is beautiful but you cannot see the sky because you see the clouds. The sky is filled with grey or dark clouds so you cannot see the blue sky you cannot see the beauty of the sky because you see the clouds. But if you keep looking at the sky using your attention you'll become more and more aware. And through this movement in this way the clouds will be dissipated so the clouds will vanish so it will come at a moment when you will see how beautiful the sky. So this is a metaphor for your mind. If now you look at the present moment you see the clouds. You cannot see the beauty of actually that which is really really beautiful. And I'm here to teach you this because it's like it's freedom. It's everything here but only from here. So if you constantly look at reality now you see your mind. You'll see the reality through the lens of your mind. But if you constantly look at it look at reality. Moment by moment of course by your side with your beautiful eyes. You do your see that you'll become more and more aware so becoming Mindfulness is a state but it's also a process. So you in this process you have to work constantly with their attention. And it's easy. You'll see you're going to need to be very very vigilant. But I'm going to show you some tricks that will simplify your understanding and your mechanic shun with actuality. So you have to be totally here. This is the first thing you should understand that the present moment is about. Here is about learning how to stay here. Right here in front of the right so the present moment is here right in front of your eyes. Now when you see it really you see through your lens it's like you have some sunglasses and you cannot see the reality because you see the reality through your lens but you have to think the lens put them down and really see the prism on and then the next lecture. I'm gonna talk a little bit about your best to do this which is your attention. As I told you your attention is prior to your mind. And by using that tension you'll overcome your momentum and nice you've overcome your mind and you'll be more and more aware of that. John can thank you again for that attention. I know that their mind talks a lot about that everything is his job but they can attention from that and put it here. You are not your mind. Your mind is just the mechanism. So you have become aware that you are not done mind. Your attention is bright through your mind and with that attention here right in front of your eyes. Stay here stay here. Remember to stay here. Moment by moment. And at first going to be a little bit difficult because their attention is varying their mental stories bad but with practice it will be easier and easier. Stay here.
