English [Auto] Hello everyone. In this lecture I will show you what are those taps which can be used to install a planet's operating system or what to your laptop. So first of all you need to stall VM workstation are. Watch your box. So here I am showing you how we can install the VM among station in the last lecture. We have seen what are different links we have from where we can download these softwares. So I have already downloaded this. You have to just double click on that and it. Yes. And it's very simple you have to you know click next to next and after that this VM workstation will be installed on your laptop in my laptop. Windows operating system is their next next and continue after this transition of VM where workstation. It will be in a shooting like this with a shot card which we created here. I've already installed this one. Let me show you. So this is what I wanted install this. We have a workstation now with the help of a workstation I'm going to show you how to start learning operating system so it would be don't look like that. Here you have to click this option. Create a new virtual machine. So two things you have with you. First we me workstation software with which you can install this software. And another thing is you I saw a major you send to us or are a child just click on create virtual machine. So here the second option is coming this custom advanced. Go with that one. Next. Next. And here you know you have to do this option the last one the default one I will install operating system later. So first of all we will create a template for that. And then we'll insert the iso image of the Atlantis operating system next. So what are you going to stall I'm going to start lining up. And what will be the word then that would be my article 7. What tool machine you can give any name so I can give the name is Article 7 I'm suggesting. I can give testing and we have the location for that. So it is up to you where you want to you know keep all the files letter to your Linux operating system. So I am choosing Deja IV here I'm going to clear the folder and this is my article 7 testing VM okay. Next the number of processors. So if this testing purpose so better you go with the default one and the default you know memory addition to M.B. but if you on if you do not have that much of a space in your laptop then you can use the one point five DB as well. So basically you know this virtual machine is going to take the space from your laptop in your laptop suppose if you have 16 DV of memory sort of 15 D.B. you have to look at some of your resources it could be the CPA or the memory to you watch your machines. So that's where if you want to run multiple volumes or two laptop or laptop configurations should be very much high. You should have at least 16 G.B. of Ram. Okay. So here I'm choosing to give so that would be somewhere around to 0 for it and be the next. Here we are getting few options for the network connection. So you can go with the default one. So that is your network address translation. I'm not going into detail of that but just give a brief introduction about that. If you choose this option it gives the guest operating system so whatever the virtual machine you are going to create that would be a virtual operating system. So here you can see that the multiple operating system out there. So these are my guest operating system and the operating system which is running on my laptop. That is the Horst so it is doing that give the guest operating system access to the host computers dial up or external Internet network connection using the host IP address. In simple law it is saying that but if you are choosing that option you will have the access to the external Internet network connection of the host machine so that the guest machine what will you have. They will have the internet connection okay. So if you want that your guest machine your Linux operating system should have the internet connection to go with that option. If you're choosing this one used this network. So this gives the guest operating system better access to an external ethernet network. So what does it mean in simple words. Well you know this is my laptop in my laptop I have installed EMV workstation in the VM workstation I have few guest Linux operating system full five Linux operating system I have created I am suppose you know in the same network I have another laptop my friend's laptop and in the laptop we have the Windows operating system and the Windows operating system I have the VBA workstation and I have it few you know guest operating system Linus operating system so few Linux operating system is running on my this machine on few Linux operating system that is running on different laptops but they are on the same network so if you are choosing Bordeaux you know guest machine is choosing these options. So what will happen. They can communicate to each other. My line machine this was able to communicate the Linux machine which is hosted on the different laptop but that will be on the same network here. If you add to with that used host only network connect the guest operating system to a private virtual network on the host computer. So it means that if you choose that option. So whatever the machine you can see here it will communicate to each other. They can you know access to each other so better go with that one default one. Okay next. This is this crazy cart. Go with them. The fourth one is because he target. And here you have to create a what. Tool desk. So basically this this is the desk for where you're going to install the operating system. So what tool does is come first of one or more files on the host file system which will appear as a single hard disk to the guest operating system. So it will take and is face from the host machine whose machine is your Windows machine. So here you have this specified 20 TV standard on TV space will take either from C drive or D.J. or e time whatever drives you have in your Windows operating system. So here a few options if you want to split the virtual disk into multiple files you can choose. I want to use this one on here. It is the one good option we have allocate all disk space now so all of this space suddenly you know I have given 20 DV here. So what will happen if I'm not selecting this option. So what will happen. 20 DV space will be allocated to my Lennox operating system. And after the installation supposed installation will take hardly six G.B.. So in actual an actual it will take only six DV out of 20 DV but it will take this option. What will happen 20 DV is. Suppose you have given the space from deejay so immediately Tandy devious phase will cut from your deejay and it will radically allocate to your larynx operating system. If you choose this option but if you are not choosing that option in your Linus operating system it will shorten TDB but in actual it will take a space only that much space with the fires. Your operating system is actually taking if it is five devious 60. It will take only that much space from the detail and it will expand to turn TDB. Suppose after sometimes you know you started putting few more files on those planets operating system it will keep on extending Bill 20 DB. So that's the best option if you are not selecting that option next. They want to clear your disk file so if you had kept it in D5 it was you know VM where it was to testing VM here save next finish. So what I have done just now I'm just giving you that template here you can see the last one the template. I have done I have not just touched it this stylish and yet I've just created a template in the template. You can see what all options I have selected here. This is the memory. This is the process. This is the hardest. This is my CDI network netting. Use the sound card printers all those options has been selected in. If you want to change any of the you know settings you can in time go with that edit and you can change if you want to increase the memory you can turn it into at any time after that what you need to do you have to you know go for that option. Here you can select that time while doing that. Getting this template with select that I will choose an operating system letter. So here you can use this use iso image. So here you know if I'm going in after life and after type I have created all life same as I have this iso image of all operating system. If I'm selecting seven point six I can select this one. OK. And after that I need to click on power on this virtual machine. So from that's all for this lecture in the next lecture we'll do the rest part of the operating system. So thanks for watching and if you have time please join within the next lecture.
