Michael “Dr. Woody” Woodward, PhD is a CEC certified coach trained in the field of organizational psychology. He is author of the top selling job hunt book The YOU Plan and weekly column “The Career Hot Seat” on

Prior to founding the consulting firm HCI in 2005, Dr. Woody served as a management and human resources consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (PwC) and as a project manager for IBM Global Business Consulting Services in Washington DC.

He has appeared nationally on LIVE w/ Regis & Kelly, Fox & Friends, CNN International, Dr. Steve Show, The Better Show, and Daytime. Dr. Woody has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and the Miami Herald as an expert on career issues. Dr. Woody received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Miami, a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Springfield College, and a PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from Florida International University (FIU).
