This 1/2 hour course will take your pictures from being ordinary to extra-ordinary.
From high-end DSLR's down to Box Brownie - Taking brilliant photos has nothing to do with the equipment you have.
It is all down to you - the photographer!
Despite the many books and courses out there, hardly any discuss the elements that actually make a picture great.
It is true that exposure, depth of field and techniques like using foreground interest and rule of thirds are vitally important; but none of these techniques guarentee a great shot.
The techniques learned in this course, along with the skills you may already know will raise your photography to a much higher level.
The course starts by looking at the pictures you see daily. The pictures that generate income for photographers. What makes these shots better than yours? Why do picture editors choose these shots? What are you currently missing with yours? What needs to change?
Once you understand the secret elements professional pictures have, you will learn how to include these into your own shots. You will learn the techniques through many examples and experience the results immediately - and by taking this course, you should never take a bad picture again!
I am a prize winning photographer and film maker and have been taking pictures for over 40 years.
I started out using tired old SLR's in my primary school art club and have worked with every popular format since - From a home made pin-hole camera to a 10" plate and the latest digital SLRs.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with many professionals and I learned my trade as an assistant to them - From this I eventually worked professionally.
It was here that I learned what it takes to take better pictures and couldn't believe the difference 3 simple techniques could make to them.
Within a year of making this 'discovery', I had won my first photographic competition sponsored by The Observer newspaper in England.
What surprised me most was how few photographers employ these techniques with their own shots - and that is why I've written this course.
I studied at Hastings College of Art and Technology and I am a fully qualified tutor.
As well as teaching my own students privately, I have also worked in further education, private and public sectors.
