Prayer PositionAnjali Mudra Benefits:
Please tick the completed box if you have a good understanding of the Chakra systems
What is a Chakra?
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning disk or wheel. Most of you will be familiar with the seven major chakras located along the spinal column.
Chakras have been called ―windows to the soul, this is because they provide humans with subtle connections into soul consciousness. It is through these seven energy centers that vitality pulses throughout our system energizing many of our physical, emotional and mental states.
In addition to the major chakras, there are also minor chakras in our energy body. The hand chakras are part of the minor chakra system. They are located in the palm of the hands and are smaller vortices compared to the major chakras. There are further chakras located in each of the joints of our fingers. The hand chakras allow us to receive and send energy and tend to be strong in those who do hands on healing work or who are creative. There are many minor or secondary chakras in the body. I have another course on one of them called Bindu Chakra if you are interested in exploring these amazing energy centres.
Prayer position or Anjali Mudra asks you in sink deeply into the connectedness with your heart centre. In a gently meaningful way with no stress anywhere.
Sometimes we take the simplest of gesture for granted. Learn more about the power of prayer position and how to perform it with grace and ease.
These two exercises combine to give a a sense of how to feel you way into Prayer Position. They are simple to integrate and easy to do. The first involved the use of water and the next asks you to tap into the creative side of you. This may not be easy if you have shut it down with time. Open you eyes and dive in, you may love what appears before your eyes.
Our voices have an amazing ability that is here for us to use as an instrument for healing. The ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras understood the benefits and gifts in the therapeutic power of human speech. He treated diseases via reading poetry. He taught his students how a skillful, well-modulated voice, with beautiful words and pleasing meter, could restore balance to the body and soul.
Many parts of the world share this common belief. As a Yogi and Shaman I use toning to vibrate and communicate not only with my own body also my spirit guides. Shamans use toning as a spirit language to commune with higher intelligences to receive messages to assist in healing of all beings.
Let go of any preconceptions you may have and join in - have fun infusing your palm chakras and anjali mudra - prayer position..

Anjali mudra opens the heart, calms and balances the mind and reduces anxiety.
By bringing our hands together at our heart centre we are connecting to both the right and left sides of the brain. This is symbolic of uniting both our masculine and feminine energies. It is said that the right hand represents our divine self and the left hand represents our worldly nature.
Use this lecture as a meditation, sit quietly focused with your hands at heart centre in prayer position (Anjali Mudra).
Come together in prayer position and work gently with each other. Take your time. Please note this is the longest meditation here at around 15 minutes. Settle in and enjoy working with each other. This is also a great gift to give someone who is in distress. If you do not have a partner - still participate!
This is a powerful mantra meditation that combines the two in an effortless breeze to infuse you being.
May it bring deep peace to you as we practice together.
Mantra yoga is a technique of human self-realization through the use of inner sounds that are awakened through outer toning and chanting. The repeated toning of vowels creates a reverberation so that when the chanting stops, the sounds continue to echo within the mind and within the chambers of the body.
Enjoy and be at peace
Using Anjali Mudra/prayer position we will seek to open our hearts, our minds and more.In our last meditation together we will be focused on receiving the grace, inspiration and higher creative thought.
Before you come to this meditation I suggest that you come with a dream you are wishing to seed and bring to life. We will be taking our dream in between our palms in Anjali Mudra - Prayer position. We will watch it grow and release it, seeding it as above, so below.
You are amazing, well done on completing this section. It has been my pleasure to share these beautiful meditative gifts with you.
There is simply so much we can all do to bring some, peace, honour and love into our core and to send it out to others.
Be at peace as you walk the sacred path of your life.
Offering spirit based courses to encourage kindfulness and peace within each and everyone of us. Every student is personally welcomed by me. In addition I perform a small sacred offering of drumming, rattling or chanting for every person to bring us into the sacred space of the courses. These course offerings have active discussion boards/forums. Please share your stories in our sacred space as they move to enrich us all. Let us plant the seeds of inspiration and love together.
I believe in “personal spirituality” and the ability we each have to create a path for ourselves that is of our own making. There are often criticisms against people who create a personal spiritual path for themselves, taking a little Buddhist meditation and adding in a bit of drumming, and then a healthy dose of yoga and some trance dancing for good measure. Interestingly, this is simply judgmental language to label this “cafeteria spirituality”. Whilst I do not advocate that people go from course to course, book to book, finding elements of the sacred within certain practices and adopting them is fine by me!
It is very empowering knowing what we know in our hearts and claiming it, regardless of whether or not it is popular or approved of by others. Within my courses I try my best to provide the resources that support “the spiritual journey” because it is that Mystery that I serve. I am not inspired to serve something made by humans, controlled by humans, and manipulated by us so we can fulfil.
Weaving magic, spirituality and crafting with nature is the way of my ancestors. It is a gift we all have deep within the core of our beings. However it has been beaten and educated out of us. It is time to reclaim who we really are. What are you waiting for? Over 10,000 people have enrolled in my classes.
I stand here with you all as a woman who embodies the elemental innocence of my youth, the transformational growth of middle age, the welcoming dignity, compassion, and acceptance of my crone years, I embrace the growth and wisdom of my future years as they unfold.
Abundant blessings on your path.
I believe in the gift of giving back; a percentage of my income is donated to a range of charities. This month being December 2016 money has been donated to the global conservation group "Tree Sisters - The Million Trees Campaign" - this is a not-for-profit organisation working to assist and rehabilitate forests, their initial aim has been reached - to fund the planting of one million trees in a year. Once we have achieved this, we will then aim for One Million Trees per month, then per week, and then per day - which we will achieve when 700,000 of us are standing for the trees. Are you with us?
