How to cook Thanksgiving dinner

The first step in creating Thanksgiving potatoes is to cut and boil the potatoes. I will show you how to easily prepare the potatoes. Potatoes are very robust and take a lot of abuse. We will start early with the potatoes because they can simmer in the background while we prepare the rest of our dishes.


I love Thanksgiving stuffing. Wow! This is one of the great dishes of Thanksgiving. Simple and savory, Thanksgiving stuffing is always a crowd pleaser. When prepared correctly, turkey stuffing is one of the greatest dishes on the planet. I am looking forward to sharing with you my technique for making amazing Thanksgiving stuffing.


Knowing how to cook Turkey is one of life's greatest skills. It can also be one of life's most challenging skills. Most people do not cook a Turkey well. They over cook it, or they season it poorly. 

After learning to prepare Turkey as I prepare Turkey, you will always want to be the family the prepares the Turkey. 

I have a very simple and delicious way of seasoning the Turkey. I will also show you how to cook the Turkey so that it stays moist and tender.

Turkey is one of Thanksgiving's great traditions. 

Let's get started with my wonderful Turkey recipe.


I love adding a modern twist to the classic Thanksgiving vegetables. 

The first twist is to cook all of our vegetables with thick-cut bacon. As you know, bacon makes everything better. Cooking the vegetables with bacon will give them a wonderful flavor.

The second twist is to not only offer the traditional green beans, but to also offer a new Thanksgiving side dish: brussels sprouts. 

Brussels sprouts are a wonderful vegetable with great flavor and texture. I am looking forward to showing you how to create great brussels sprouts.

Pumpkin pie is everywhere on Thanksgiving. You can find pumpkin pie recipes in everyone's home. You can find pumpkin pie in everyone's home. What you can't find in everyone's home is pumpkin bread pudding. 

For me, pumpkin bread pudding is a wonderful break from Thanksgiving tradition.

I love bread pudding and I have a great bread pudding recipe.

You are going to love this bread pudding - it is easy and delicious.

Thanksgiving green beans are one of my favorites, particularly when they are prepared in the method which I am going to show you. For me, Thanksgiving would not be complete without green beans. I am going to give you the recipe for my wonderful green beans then show you how to make them. As with so many things in life, the simplest approach is the best and that is the one we will take with our green beans. We will let the flavor of the beans shine through.

Stepping outside of Thanksgiving tradition, we are also going to prepare brussels sprouts.

Knowing how to cook brussels sprouts is the key to enjoying brussels sprouts. I love brussels sprouts. Their texture is absolutely amazing. I also love the caramelization which occurs when you pan fry the brussels sprouts.

I am looking forward to sharing my techniques for wonderful Thanksgiving vegetables.

Finish Vegetables

Thanksgiving gravy is a classic tradition. A Thanksgiving meal is not complete without gravy. I am going to show you a super simple method of creating gravy which is also delicious. My method for creating gravy only takes a few minutes. 

After the gravy is prepared, we will create another Thanksgiving tradition: cranberry sauce.

My method for creating cranberry sauce is so delicious - it hits the perfect tone between sweet and sour.

For creating both the gravy and cranberry sauce, we will use a slurry to thicken each of them.

A slurry is equal parts corn starch and water.
