Early in my working years and while on the Research Faculty of the Ohio State University, I created thirteen highly acclaimed books and resource materials to facilitate police officer effectiveness nationally in elementary school classrooms; this "Officer Friendly" curriculum was funded by the Sears Roebuck Foundation. In addition, throughout my years as an entrepreneur and small business owner, I have fostered the empowerment of women through practical education and sound advice based on experience. I was a founding member of the Atlanta Women's Network, on the Board of Directors of Women Business Owners of Atlanta, and one of the three first women members of the Board of Directors of Sales and Marketing Executives of Atlanta.
