This course is about Algebra. This course is for those in education, or those who need a refresher course.
In this course you will have access to different presentations that cover a wide range of math tips. In addition, self-study guides and worksheets will be provided to help you train towards becoming successful Algebra users. The course is set up to allow you to learn at your own pace with six sessions to help you learn. The course is structured so that you can select which presentations to view in any order you wish. This course is designed for you and is flexible for all learners to explore and to learn.

This session discusses the basics of a slope and other key terms related to beginning algebra. This is an introductory session that will begin this six-part Mathematics course that moves from introductory to advanced topics in Algebra.

Reorder the terms: 3 + x = 53 + x = 5
Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.
Add '-3' to each side of the equation: 3 + -3 + x = 5 + -33 + -3 + x = 5 + -3
Combine like terms: 3 + -3 = 0
