This course is about English grammar. This course is for those in education, or those who need a refresher course.
In this course you will have access to different presentations that cover a wide range of grammar tips and grammar guides. In addition, self-study guides and worksheets will be provided to help you train towards becoming successful English language experts. The course is set up to allow you to learn at your own pace with six sessions to help you learn. The course is structured so that you can select which presentations to view in any order you wish. This course is designed for you and is flexible for all learners to explore and to learn.
In addition, more focused courses on essay writing, Algebra, and study skills help are also available under the "Study Time: Your Academic Success Center" umbrella of training support.
This session covers gerunds, or the -ing part of words. This is an introductory session that will begin this six-part Grammar Skills course that will delve further into different aspects of English grammar for you to improve your English language usage.

This session looks at comma splices and how to detect them in your writing.

This session explains the connection between subjects and verbs, including the singular versus plural usage of both.
This session will look at auxiliary verbs and how to successfully use them in your understanding of the English language.
