Roger Loh is Director of Strategy and Business Development at Stamford Advisory, based in Singapore. Prior to joining Stamford Advisory, Roger was a Vice President in Group Strategy and Planning (AfK) at Deutsche Bank, one of the world’s leading financial services providers, focusing on corporate Strategy and M&A as well as business development.

Roger has also worked in similar roles at various financial institutions globally including OCBC Bank in Singapore, Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong as well as J.P. Morgan Chase and UBS Investment Bank in New York. In his role, Roger has advised management on all aspects of corporate M&A (transaction structuring, due diligence) as well as supported senior executives in formulating business plans across different business divisions including global markets (Equities and FICC), transaction banking, asset management and private wealth management.

Roger has extensive transaction experiences across the entire banking and finance spectrum. Selected transactions in the Asia Pacific region include:

1. USD $1.5 billion acquisition of ING Asia Private Bank by OCBC Bank

2. Establishment of an equities dealing and research joint venture in Thailand between Deutsche Bank and TISCO

3. Divestiture of a minority stake in a Singapore-based boutique asset manager

Roger graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University, with a double major in Economics and Mathematical Methods in Social Sciences.
