Section 1: Introduction

This lecture describes the main techniques of massage and their proper application, and also the preparatory steps to warm up the muscles of our recipients to receive the massage.

Section 5: Preparing for competition

Massaging before a competition is essential to stimulate the athlete. In this lesson we will learn how to convey a positive attitude to the athlete while reducing the chance of injury.

Instructor Biography

I have been a masseur trainer at European Spa Training School – Euespa – since 1999, being at the time the youngest school director in Spain, and I have a wide and international experience on massage and spa techniques training.

I have been collaborating for the last nine years with Toni Bové, physiotherapist at Football Club Barcelona, designing together a functional bandaging course for Natura Masajes.

I obtained my massage teaching title at the Manual Massage School in Barcelona, with Dr. Sagrera, known for introducing the technical massage into Spain.

With the experience of more than 1000 students' trained, I have also long been a consultant for several cosmetics brands, such as Duaner Laboratories.
