In this course, you will learn how to compose a scholarship essay! I will walk you through the fundamental steps of composing a clear, organized essay tailored to meet the requirements of most scholarship essay prompts. I will also teach you how to search for various types of scholarships, tailor the essay to meet the scholarship's requirements, organize and structure your paragraphs, cultivate your voice, and how to include the uniqueness of YOU as a write in the essay! By the end of this course, you will be able to write a standard scholarship essay that can be used for a variety of scholarships.
Students will be able to create an environment conducive to concentration for their scholarship essay. They will also learn how to utilize mind maps for brainstorming.

Candace Chambers is an academic coach, writer, and educator. She has snagged over $50,000 in scholarships, grants, and assistantships over the course of her educational journey.
Candace Chambers is a scholar of Composition, Rhetoric, and English Studies. She has served in various capacities within the writing field. Her roles have included the position of Assistant Director at a university writing center, writing consultant at two universities and one community college, and instructor of record of freshman college composition courses. She serves as a test prep leader for writing instruction, and tutors students in her local community with writing assignments. Also, Candace serves as an online tutor for two mainstream tutoring services, and aids students with scholarship essay compositions. In addition to helping students, Candace helps professionals with revising and editing written documents.
