a little overview answering the need of strategy and the implementation of strategy in different context using unique style of planning to takeover certain environments.
Most people think of the term strategy only relates to business. Not the case.
Mission statement identifies what's in and out of the business. This answers the purpose of company existence or co-existance, then finding out where are we now by looking at data "DATA", and collect that information and throw in together in a tool box called SWOT analysis.
SWOT solves a piece of the puzzle in strategy but you cant use it as a whole to address effective strategy.
Playing to Win at it's core as strategy, the SWOT tool box, and DEAL framework as an strategy approach which have some resemblance with PTW.
Just a try-out example "CASE STUDY" to simplify and play more for more comprehension.
SMART Objective for short term goals mainly to achieve what SWOT has put around to achieve in a long term. Time bound feature addresses setting a time frame for short term tasks and activities.
Would SMART objectives replaces entirely SWOT analysis, hold on to this thought?
